Huawei recently launched the flagship P30 and P30 Pro phones. The Chinese company is expected to announce the Huawei Mate 30 series in October.

The Mate 30 Pro will be the company’s most powerful flagship phone because it should be powered by a new chipset. New information on the Mate 30 Pro smartphone seems to reveal some of its main features.

Industry sources have revealed that Mate 30 Pro will be powered by a Kirin 985 7nm chipset built by the EVC production processor. To support 5G connectivity, the SoC will include a Balong 5000 5G modem. It is assumed that Mate 30 Pro will be available only in the 5G and 4G variants.

The Mate 20 Pro is equipped with a 6.39 inch OLED display. However, his successor may come with a 6.71-inch OLED display provided by BOE. The display should be curved on all four sides, but other details, such as screen resolution, are not yet available. Whether Huawei has opted for a perforated display or not, or another type of display for the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro smartphones remains to be seen.

The previous phone supports unlocking 3D faces. There is no information as to whether Advanced Face Recognition will be available on Mate 30 Pro. The smartphone should arrive with an integrated fingerprint reader.

The Mate 30 Pro should arrive with a four-camera configuration. The configurations of the four objectives are not yet known. However, we know that it will be equipped with a 3D ToF sensor. The camera configuration design will be identical to that of the Mate 20 Pro. In other words, a square camera configuration will be available on the Mate 30 Pro. It will include four sensors for cameras and a LED flash in the center.

The Mate 30 Pro can come with a 4,200 mAh battery, which seems a bit disappointing as it will be a great smartphone. It is expected that the support of 55W SuperCharge technology will also be available on the Mate X folding smartphone. The Mate 30 Pro will also support the 10 W reverse wireless charge. There is no information on smartphone prices yet.
