The sighting of the latest ASUS ROG Phone 2 gaming smartphone has been roaming ahead of its July 23 launch. Based on the leaked images, we can see that ROG Phone 2 still adopts the same design language as the previous series.
So far only the front looks have been circulating widely. Visible ROG Phone 2 has a screen still spiked with a bezel on the top and bottom. But at least the bezel size is slightly thinner than the first ROG Phone.
ASUS ROG Phone 2 is also said to be using 120 Hz technology. The refresh rate is higher than the previous ROG Phone screen (90 Hz) and is equivalent to the screen of the Razer Phone which is both 120 Hz. Even so, we are given the option to be able to reduce it to 90 or 60 Hz.
The latest information that is no less interesting is about the chipset. Shortly after Qualcomm announced the new Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset (overclocked version of Snapdragon 855), it is strongly suspected that ROG Phone 2 will be the first smartphone to use it.
Qualcomm promises Snapdragon 855 Plus will offer faster computing performance up to 4.2 percent and faster graphics performance up to 15 percent compared to the regular version of Snapdragon 855.
