Microsoft is preparing the debut of new versions of its Surface Book 2 and Surface Pro 6 , the ones that are the latest convertible laptop and 2-in-1 detachable respectively in the Surface product family.
The company is preparing the debut of versions equipped with 16GB of system memory , combined with an Intel Core i5 processor. This amount of memory is already accessible with both product families, but up to the present time this has required the use of an Intel Core i7 processor.
The two new configurations have appeared in the Best Buy chain in Canada, a fact that suggests an initial spread in North America. It is conceivable that these may come on the market even in Europe and therefore in Italy , but we have no specific indications in this regard.
The processor used is the Intel Core i5-8350U , the same version that Microsoft uses on Surface Book 2 and Surface Pro 6 equipped with a quantity of 8GB system memory. A choice of this type expands the possibilities of choice for consumers, making a quantity of 16GB more accessible, which in many cases represents the best compromise to ensure good system responsiveness even with many applications running simultaneously.
The two new configurations should be available for sale starting June 19 ; from that date it will be possible to see if they will also appear among those purchased in the Italian market.
